Materials
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, chocolate chips, ground flaxseed, honey, and vanilla extract.
- Stir with a sturdy spatula until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and a sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This makes it easier to roll.
