Summer Artists Retreat Kicks Off with Music, Meals, and Momentum
This weekend’s Summer Artists Retreat with Art Borups Corners is off to a fantastic start! The energy was high on Friday evening as artists and musicians gathered for an informal night of rehearsals, jamming, and collaborative repertoire development. The rest of Saturday morning and early afternoon was dedicated to organizing seven full performance sets and finalizing the list of 79 songs to rehearse. From old-time classics like “Silver Wings” to favourites like “Swinging Doors” the mix is as dynamic as the artists themselves. The excitement is already building for the upcoming Melgund Township Canada Day Celebrations on July 1st, where these carefully crafted sets will take centre stage.
