As part of our ongoing Saturday afternoon coding workshops, we’re developing a virtual gallery that brings WordPress content to life in an immersive 3D environment. Designed especially with small communities and limited resources in mind, this project uses AI tools to turn standard blog posts into interactive exhibition panels, creating an accessible digital arts platform that anyone can explore.

This simple gallery concept is designed to integrate with any WordPress site—automatically retrieving post titles, excerpts, and featured images, and presenting them as framed displays in a virtual space. Visitors can navigate the gallery using simple WASD or arrow key controls, examine content up close, and click to read the full post in a new tab—all within a fluid, fullscreen-responsive experience.
Developed collaboratively during our weekly arts and tech sessions, this project shows how AI-assisted coding can support community storytelling and arts visibility in new ways. As the gallery evolves, it stands as both a functional tool and a demonstration of what’s possible when creativity, code, and community come together.
