Summer arts workshops included learning to paint moose jaws and animal skulls

No bones about it, this summer’s painting workshops were a lot of fun.

From skulls and bones to all the odd little details that make them interesting, the workshops gave everyone a chance to slow down, experiment and see familiar things a little differently.

There was plenty of conversation, plenty of paint, and a fair bit of laughing along the way. It was exactly the kind of hands-on, slightly messy arts programming we love about summer: people showing up, trying something new and making something that didn’t have to be perfect to be worth keeping.

We’ll see lots of them in the fall arts exhibition. Stay tuned!
