Waiting for Central Park to Bloom
Downtown Winnipeg is truly our home base—it is where we meet, work, and find our creative rhythm.
If you know us, you know we spend as much time as possible outside, and Central Park is easily one of our favourite spots to clear our heads or catch up with colleagues. There is something about the energy of that green space that makes it the perfect urban oasis. We usually live for those afternoons spent at the picnic tables and park benches, soaking in the sun and the community vibe that makes this part of the city so unique.
However, as the Manitoba winter settles in and covers our favorite benches in a thick layer of snow, we’ve officially retreated inside. Walking the downtown streets during a cold snap is a bit of a challenge, even for the most seasoned locals! For now, we are more than happy to move our meetings to a cozy indoor spot with a warm drink in hand. We’re keeping an eye on the calendar, though, because spring in Winnipeg is only a few months away, and we can’t wait to get back to our “outdoor office.” 😀
