Enjoying the land while berry picking … just because
Happy Friday! It’s been gorgeous out on the tundra this week, and while the rest of the family was busy picking berries, Carter found the perfect way to spend the afternoon. There’s nothing better than finding a cozy spot in the midst of all this beautiful fall color and just relaxing. The weather couldn’t be more perfect, with a crisp breeze and a warm sun making the entire landscape feel like a soft, cozy blanket. Who needs a hammock when you have a carpet of vibrant red and orange dwarf trees to lay on?
This is what Fridays are all about—taking a moment to just be present and enjoy the simple things in life. While the grown-ups are filling their pails, Carter was just taking it all in, breathing in the fresh Arctic air and soaking up the last of the season’s warmth. It’s a reminder that even when you’re out to accomplish a task, it’s just as important to find a moment of peace and appreciate the beauty all around you.
This is the good life.
