Visitors and residents alike are invited to experience local arts at Dyment Recreation Hall this summer, where a special exhibition features the work of local artist Leanne Nicholson. Showcasing creativity inspired by Northwestern Ontario and the surrounding communities, the exhibition offers an opportunity to celebrate the talent and artistic voices that help make our region unique.

The exhibition is open to the public on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to stop in, explore the artwork, and enjoy a relaxed setting that brings together art, community, and conversation. Supporting local artists helps strengthen cultural life across Northwestern Ontario and creates meaningful opportunities for people to connect through creativity.

Summer visitors are also encouraged to mark their calendars for the always popular Canada Day Festival at Dyment Recreation Hall. The annual celebration features an artist market, local vendors, live music, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to gather with friends, neighbours, and visitors. The festival has become a favourite community tradition and a wonderful way to experience the creativity, hospitality, and community spirit that make this part of Ontario so special.
