When a powerful blizzard cuts off Saila’s Arctic village, plunging it into darkness, this resourceful teen must rely on forgotten traditions to bring back the light.

Her handmade seal-fat lamps are a beacon of hope, but their flickering glow accidentally awakens something ancient and hungry—a spirit tied to the melting land itself. Now, Saila must confront not only the brutal storm but also a terrifying entity that threatens to consume everything she holds dear.

This chilling adventure explores themes of personal growth, resilience, and the delicate balance between humanity and nature, as Saila discovers her own courage and the enduring strength of her community.

The Arts Incubator - Winnipeg is a participatory arts collective and living lab, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. It's a space where innovation and creativity thrive.
