Purple Lupines in Bloom

Lupines. See why these gorgeous, towering blooms are a true highlight, bringing vibrant color and natural beauty to the season.

Delicate yet striking, these purple lupins are unfurling in full glory, their individual blossoms creating a magnificent tower of color. It's moments like these that truly highlight the magic of a summer garden.

These Gorgeous Blooms Are Brightening Up Our Days

There’s something so cool about how they grow, all those little individual flowers stacked up to make those big, vibrant spikes. You see them in shades of deep purple, soft lavender, sometimes even pink and blue – just bursting with life. They really do add such an amazing splash of color wherever they decide to bloom.

It’s not just about how gorgeous they look either. If you hang around them for a bit, you’ll probably spot bees and butterflies buzzing around, doing their thing. It’s a nice little reminder of how everything in nature is connected.

So, if you get a chance, take a moment to really look at them. They’re one of those fleeting beauties of the season that just make everything feel a bit more vibrant. Truly a lovely sight.

A magnificent display of purple lupins, their towering spires adorned with countless individual blossoms. Each flower, a delicate blend of rich purples and subtle variations in hue, creates a breathtaking tapestry of color and texture. The elegant form of these blooms, reaching towards the sky, is a testament to the beauty and resilience of nature.

Art Borups Corners is a dynamic participatory arts collective and living lab, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. It's a space where innovation and creativity thrive. The program was founded in 2014, with its arts incubator established in 2021 and 2022 with funding and support from the Canada Council for the Arts Digital Greenhouse. Today, working with students and faculty from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, we fuse traditional and participatory media arts with artificial intelligence, music, storytelling and community-driven, land-based artist residencies to cultivate new voices and bold ideas. Whether through collaborative projects or immersive experiences, our small but vibrant community supports creators to explore, experiment, and connect. Join us at the intersection of artistry, technology, culture and community—where every moment is a new opportunity to create.
