@1860 Winnipeg Arts founding member Tony Eetak was named a National Role Model by Global Dignity Canada on October 18, 2023. The 17-year-old Winnipeg-based artist has been volunteering with the national non-profit organization for almost a decade.

This weekend, we held a small workshop to clean up the Niriqatiginnga web site, re-work some of our content and start scheduling out some of the many events that we will be taking part in during 2023-2024.
In our meeting, we shared ideas about creating some curriculum and got to check out their awesome Food: Farming and Food Security program. In addition to educational videos, the program provides challenges, opportunities to learn more about food security, and other resources.
