Celebrating Parks Day: Everyone Outdoors Together Food & Program Visioning

Art Borups Corners is hosting a community BBQ and participatory visioning event as part of Everyone Outdoors Together, a national initiative led by the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) for Parks Day, July 18, 2026.

Everyone Outdoors Together is a national Canadian movement that encourages residents to step outside and connect with nature simultaneously. In Borups Corners, this event will be a local gathering of friends and neighbours with hot dogs, refreshments and community coming together.

Join us in Borups Corners!

The evening centres on a community BBQ where people can eat, listen to music, and spend time together outdoors in an open, informal setting. Alongside the BBQ, participants are invited to take part in hands-on creative activities including pottery, mapping, and storytelling.

Through these activities, people contribute to a collective understanding of how local parks and greenspaces function today and how they can evolve into more useful, inclusive, and engaging public spaces shaped directly by community input.

Coming from out of town?

Registration isn’t required, but we do ask that anyone coming in from out of town let us know in advance at info@artsincubator.ca so that we can make sure we have enough hotdogs and refreshments for everyone! All are welcome!
