Our Second Season of Growing Dill

This is our second year growing dill, and it’s quickly become one of our favourites! We were first introduced to this amazing plant during our pilot Northern Food Systems Innovation Program, supported by Manitoba Agriculture. Since then, it’s become a staple in our grow beds. This year, it was one of the very first plants we made sure to get into the soil — and it’s thriving.

Dill has not only added flavour to our meals but has become a symbol of how innovation and tradition can grow together in the North.

Art Borup’s Corners is a northern arts incubator based in Melgund Township, Northwestern Ontario, where community-led creativity, land-based practice, and digital innovation come together. From wild blueberry walks to immersive AI-powered exhibitions, our seasonal programs and artist residencies foster connection, skill-building, and self-determined expression—all grounded in place, culture, and care.
