Jamie Bell heads into a workshop at the Canadian Mennonite University (CMU).
Today gathered at Canadian Mennonite University (CMU), a place known for weaving together learning, creativity, and community. Nestled in Winnipeg, CMU has long been a hub where ideas grow and where people come together to share knowledge in ways that are both thoughtful and practical. It feels fitting to spend one of the final days of our fall and winter program here, surrounded by an environment that values dialogue, exploration, and connection.
Our workshops at CMU carry the same spirit that guides our work everywhere—bringing people into spaces where they can learn, share, and create side by side. The energy here is always collaborative, with students, staff, and community members sparking new conversations and shaping projects that extend far beyond the classroom. Being here reminds us of the importance of education as a meeting place, not just for ideas but for people, experiences, and possibilities.
As the seasons turn, today also marks a moment of transition. Next week, our spring and summer program begins, carrying us out across Canada. We’ll be traveling, collaborating, and connecting with communities in new places, guided by the same values that have shaped our fall and winter work. There’s an excitement in the air—not only for what we’ve built together so far, but for what’s still to come.

For us, CMU has been more than just a host for today’s workshops—it has been a reminder of how much can happen when people come together with openness and curiosity. It’s the perfect place to close one chapter and prepare for the next.
