Looking back at a successful 2025

As we look back on 2025, our hearts are full. It has been a landmark year for our creative community of projects. From the vibrant energy in Winnipeg to the groundbreaking projects that took flight across Manitoba, Nunavut, Minnesota and Ontario, we have been constantly inspired by the talent, resilience, and passion of the artists we serve.

Because of your dedication and support, The Arts Incubator has grown into a stronger, more inclusive hub for innovation. We are incredibly proud of the milestones we’ve reached together this year, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

2025: Our Year in Review

Before we fully dive into the possibilities of the new year, we want to celebrate the journeys that got us here. We’ve curated a collection of our favourite moments and community stories from the past twelve months.

Youth Thriving

Tony Eetak, a Winnipeg-based youth artist, is one of the team members traveling across the city to meet with and engage different organizations, gaining insights into their work and best practices to strengthen arts programming in local communities.

A special thanks to the Manitoba Arts Council Indigenous 360 program for funding Tony Eetak in Winnipeg and to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design for supporting Krish Agrawal to work with us this year. We are honoured and grateful to have been able to work with and learn from them.

New Infrastructure

From new event tents in Northwestern Ontario, to a new gallery and exhibition space opening in the new year, infrastructure has been top of mind this past year.

Crowds filled the new event tents listening to music and enjoying food from the Cookshack.
