There’s nothing complicated about it. The creek does what it always does—moves water through the land—but right now it does it with force and clarity. Surrounded by thick green growth and shaded by spruce and poplar, Melgund Creek is at its strongest, shaping the ground around it and reminding anyone nearby just how alive the northern landscape is.
