Visitors to Dyment Recreation Hall can discover handmade sewn creations, local artisans, vendors, and family-friendly Canada Day activities.
The Canada Day arts, crafts and vendor’s market at the Dyment Recreation Hall and Recreation Complex in Melgund Township highlights local handmade goods, artisan craftsmanship, and community fundraising through a popular Silent Auction.
Local crafter Terri Bell will be featured at the event with a display of handmade knitting, custom dolls, and crafted outfits. Her work reflects detailed handcraft techniques and traditional fibre arts, offering a showcase of handmade arts and crafts created in Northwestern Ontario.
Bell’s collection includes knitted items, handcrafted dolls, and sewn outfits, each produced through careful attention to detail and creative design. Her display adds to the broader Canada Day artisan market atmosphere, where visitors can view and purchase handmade crafts from regional makers.
In addition to her showcase, Terri Bell has generously donated one of her handmade creations to the Canada Day Festival Silent Auction, a popular community fundraising feature that supports local programming and event activities.
The Dyment Recreation Hall Canada Day celebration brings together local artists, craft makers, and community organizations for a family-friendly event focused on arts and crafts, handmade goods, and regional creativity. Visitors from Melgund Township, Dryden, and surrounding Northwestern Ontario communities are encouraged to attend and support local artists.
