It's that time of year. As we shift from the outdoor arts and land lab programming to winter activities - it's time for crafting!
Winter Programming
As the long summer days in Northwestern Ontario fade into crisp mornings and early sunsets, we’re shifting gears from outdoor adventures to one of our favourite fall-and-winter pastimes: crafting!
There’s something magical about gathering around a table with good company, a warm drink, and a pile of colourful materials just waiting to be transformed. Whether it’s paper, paint, fabric, or found objects from the boreal forest, this is the season when creativity really starts to glow.
Crafting isn’t just a hobby. It’s a way of staying connected, grounded, and inspired as the temperatures dip. In our communities across Northwestern Ontario, arts and creativity have always been at the heart of how we come together, share stories, and make meaning. From simple family-friendly projects to bigger collaborative workshops, we’re excited to bring that spirit into our fall and winter activities.
So dust off your glue guns, sharpen your scissors, and get ready, because crafting season is officially here. And trust us, we’ve got plenty of creative surprises on the way!
