Helping local organizations find their voice and connect with their neighbors across Manitoba.

How do we make sure our neighbors in the North End or St. Vital know we are here to help? In Winnipeg, our communities are built on personal connections and shared values. However, even the most dedicated team can find it difficult to explain their mission clearly to a new partner or a potential client. We offer professional Communication Services to help you bridge that gap. We want to ensure that your organization speaks with a voice that is honest, professional, and easy to understand. When your message is clear, your impact increases.

Why Communication Services Strengthen Our Winnipeg Neighborhoods

When we talk about our city, we talk about the people. Whether you are operating out of a basement in West Broadway or a shared office in the Exchange District, your focus is on the people you serve. But if your message is confusing, you might be missing the very people who need you most. Communication Services are not about fancy marketing; they are about making sure your neighbors know how to find you and how to support you. We help you take the complex work you do every day and turn it into a clear story that resonates with the people of Manitoba.

In a city like Winnipeg, where reputation is everything, clarity is a form of respect. If a donor or a partner has to guess what your organization does, you are creating an unnecessary barrier. We work with you to remove those barriers. We help you present the facts of your work—the number of people you assist or the specific programs you provide—so that your value is undeniable. This factual approach builds a foundation of trust that is necessary for any group to stay sustainable in the long run. By being direct and transparent, you invite more people to participate in your mission.

Using Strategic Planning to Find Your Voice

One of the most effective ways we support local organizations is through Strategic Planning. We believe that you cannot communicate well if your team is not in agreement on where you are going. A plan is more than a list of dates; it is a communication tool that ensures every member of your board and staff is telling the same story. This consistency is what allows a small group to make a large impact.

Aligning Your Team for Success

We have seen how internal confusion can lead to external mixed messages. If your staff in St. Boniface describes your mission differently than your board members in the North End, your organization appears disorganized to the public. We facilitate Strategic Planning sessions that bring everyone to the table. We help you define your mission in simple, direct language. By removing technical jargon, we make sure that your message is accessible to everyone, from a teenager looking for a creative outlet to a city official looking for a partnership. This internal health is the first step toward better public outreach.

Reaching Partners and Clients

Once your team is aligned, your Strategic Plan acts as a guide for all your future interactions. It tells you who you need to reach and what they need to know. Are you looking to partner with local businesses in the Exchange District? Do you need more volunteers for a summer program in Transcona? Our process helps you identify these goals and create a plan to achieve them. We assist you in showing your value through clear data and honest explanations of your services. This makes your organization a more attractive candidate for funding and collaboration.

A Social Enterprise Dedicated to Manitoba

We are not an outside consulting firm. We are a social enterprise that is deeply rooted in Winnipeg. We understand the specific culture of our city and the challenges that come with working in the community sector here. Our Communication Services are designed for organizations that need practical, high-impact results without any fluff. We reinvest in our community because we believe that when one local non-profit succeeds, our entire city gets stronger. We are committed to the long-term success of the creators and organizations that make Winnipeg a vibrant place to live.

We offer a human approach to your technical needs. We know that your time is limited and your budget is tight. That is why we focus on strategies that work in the real world. We treat our clients as partners, working alongside you to ensure your organization has the professional tools it needs to be heard in every corner of the city. Whether you are providing social services or creating art, your voice matters.

Join Us in Building a Connected Community

The Arts Incubator - Winnipeg is a participatory arts collective and living lab, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. It's a space where innovation and creativity thrive. It's latest iteration was launched in 2021 with funding and support from the Canada Council for the Arts Digital Greenhouse. Today, working with students and faculty from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, we fuse traditional and participatory media arts with artificial intelligence, music, storytelling and community-driven, land-based artist residencies to cultivate new voices and bold ideas. Whether through collaborative projects or immersive experiences, our small but vibrant community supports creators to explore, experiment, and connect. Join us at the intersection of artistry, technology, culture and community—where every moment is a new opportunity to create.
