Leanne Nicholson’s Wildlife Paddle Draws Attention at Popular Art Display

A beautiful wildlife-themed paddle painted by Borups Corners artist Leanne Nicholson is just one of many eye-catching works currently on display at the Dyment Recreation Hall.

The paddle, featuring vibrant wildlife imagery and a deep appreciation for the natural world, is a wonderful example of the mixed-media artwork showcased throughout both the upper and lower levels of the hall. Visitors will find a wide variety of creative pieces on display, reflecting the talent, imagination, and artistic spirit found throughout our community.

The exhibition continues to attract visitors who enjoy exploring local art in a welcoming and relaxed setting. The Dyment Recreation Hall is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m., making it the perfect place to stop in, browse the artwork, meet friends, and enjoy a cup of coffee—the coffee is always on.

Residents and visitors are also encouraged to take in the exhibition during the community’s popular Canada Day Festival on July 1. With plenty of activities happening throughout the day, the art display offers another great reason to visit the hall and celebrate the creativity and community spirit that make Dyment such a special place.

Whether you’re an art enthusiast or simply looking for an enjoyable outing, be sure to stop by and discover the many talented artists whose work is currently on display.
