Reflecting on a Transformative 2025

As the curtains close on 2025, we find ourselves looking back with immense gratitude. This has been a definitive year for our collective of creators. From the artistic heartbeat of Winnipeg to the visionary projects spanning Manitoba, Nunavut, Minnesota, and Ontario, we have been moved by the sheer talent and tenacity of the artists we are privileged to support.

Thanks to your belief in our mission, Our program has evolved into a more resilient and inclusive home for creative experimentation. These milestones belong to all of us, and we are honoured to have shared this journey with you.

Our Year in Review

Before we turn our focus to the horizon of a new year, let’s take a moment to celebrate the stories and successes that defined our last twelve months.

Building for the Future

Infrastructure was a major theme of our 2025 narrative. We saw the tangible impact of new event spaces in Northwestern Ontario, providing a home for music and community gatherings. Looking forward, we are excited to announce that a brand-new gallery and exhibition space is slated to open early in the coming year.

In partnership with the Dyment Museum, the Local Services Board of Melgund and Melgund Recreation, Arts and Culture, we’re working on a gallery and heritage space at the Dyment Recreation Hall.
September saw the return of structured events, pop-up exhibitions, and the highly successful artist and farmer’s market.
Our work with Global Dignity Canada got a shout out from the House of Commons in October!
Crowds filled new event tents.

Empowering the Next Generation

Special thanks to youth Tony Eetak and Krish Agrawal for working with us this year. We learned so much working and learning with them and they made incredible contributions to our work.

This vital work was made possible through the support of the Ontario Arts Council Multi and Inter-Arts Projects Program and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

Connecting with a Global Community

Users from more than 4,300 communities around the world visited our platforms this year.

Our digital reach has expanded beyond our wildest expectations. This year, The Arts Incubator became a truly global destination, welcoming visitors from over 4,200 communities worldwide. We saw a staggering 984,180 visits and more than 4.4 million page views—a massive leap in engagement compared to previous years. December was particularly remarkable, as our community engagement peaked with nearly 179,000 visits in a single month.
