Art Borups Corners Summer Incubator Team Meeting – 6/9/2025
As we begin to plan our Canada Day arts and music activities, envisioning vibrant community celebrations is key! This week, we’re excited to offer a foundational session to help bring those artistic visions to life.
Join us for an engaging and super introductory session focused on the essentials of event planning, marketing, and promotion. This is a fantastic professional development opportunity for all Northern and Northwestern Ontario artists, collectives, and groups looking to hone their organizational and outreach skills.
Whether you’re an experienced organizer or new to the world of event coordination, this session is open to all local artists and community members. We will explore practical strategies, including:
- Understanding key logistics for successful events
- Discovering useful tools to streamline your planning process
- Developing effective ways to spread the word and engage your audience
Come out and equip yourself with the knowledge to make your future arts and music initiatives truly shine!
About the Art Borups Corners Program
This summer, we are excited to announce the third season for our Incubator for Digital Arts and Cultural Entrepreneurship, building on the success of our original pilot program launched in 2022. This season, we are proud to be delivering an intensive internship, mentorship, and collective capacity-building program.
Each week will have a different theme, ranging from digital arts, tools and technologies, to administration skills, like grant writing, proposal writing, budgeting and advertising. It’s open to all, and we meet both in-person and online most weeks. We encourage you to contact us at info@artsincubator.ca for more information!
