Art Borups Corners Summer Incubator Team Meeting – 6/2/2025
Get ready to bring your artistic visions to life! This week, we’re diving deep into the exciting world of project planning for arts events.
As we gear up for this year’s Canada Day celebrations, with a core program goal of hosting vibrant music and arts activities, we’re thrilled to kickstart our planning process. We invite you to join us for an engaging brainstorming session dedicated to demystifying event planning for artists and small community groups.
This is a fantastic professional development opportunity, particularly for Northern and Northwestern Ontario artists, collectives, and groups eager to learn the ropes of successful event execution. Whether you’re dreaming of your first public exhibition, a community concert, or a collaborative festival, this session will provide valuable insights and practical strategies to help you navigate the journey from concept to creation.
All are welcome to contribute their ideas, learn from peers, and lay the groundwork for unforgettable arts events!
About the Art Borups Corners Program
This summer, we are excited to announce the third season for our Incubator for Digital Arts and Cultural Entrepreneurship, building on the success of our original pilot program launched in 2022. This season, we are proud to be delivering an intensive internship, mentorship, and collective capacity-building program.
Each week will have a different theme, ranging from digital arts, tools and technologies, to administration skills, like grant writing, proposal writing, budgeting and advertising. It’s open to all, and we meet both in-person and online most weeks. We encourage you to contact us at info@artsincubator.ca for more information!
