Design for All: A Canva & Creative Promotion Workshop

If you’ve ever wanted to create professional-looking posters but felt intimidated by complicated software, this is the session for you! As we gear up for our big winter arts exhibition in February, we need to get the word out—and we want to do it with style. Join us on Saturday, January 31, 2026, for a fast, fun, and beginner-friendly workshop where we’ll show you how to turn your ideas into eye-catching promotional materials.

We’re revisiting the digital energy from last year’s summer arts program, but this time with a focus on getting the community through the gallery doors. We’ll be diving into Canva and Poster My Wall, two incredibly easy-to-use tools that make graphic design feel like play. You don’t need to be an “expert” or have a background in art; these tools are built for everyone, and we’ll guide you through the process step-by-step.

This is a “choose your own adventure” style workshop: join us in person with your laptop or hop on from home via our online link. We’ll practice making everything from printed flyers to social media graphics. By the end of the session, you’ll have the skills to help us promote our upcoming winter exhibit—and maybe even a few tricks for your own personal projects.
