Arctic Summit Science Week 2024 Lunch
We will have a group lunch with the Arctic Buying Company and members of the Niriqatiginnga Project as part of our special ASSW2024 Conference day.
We love Winnipeg. For us, it’s home! Winnipeg, Manitoba is a gateway city, especially for the western prairies, and north the Arctic. It’s been a meeting place for Indigenous peoples for thousands of years. Our pilot incubator for digital arts and cultural entrepreneurship is based in Winnipeg because we think our city has incredible potential for nurturing and sustaining arts industry training and professional development.

As we move deeper into planning for this year's Niriqatiginnga project, we will have an introductory meeting to learn about services available from the Manitoba Agriculture's Food Development Centre (FDC).
April 25, 2024 is the deadline for the Manitoba Arts Council Indigenous 360 Program.
The deadline for the Manitoba Arts Council - Create program is February 15, 2024.
The deadline for the Manitoba Arts Council Share - Artists in Communities program is January 30, 2024.
October 27 is the deadline for the Manitoba Agriculture’s Indigenous Agriculture and Relationship Development Program.
In our meeting, we shared ideas about creating some curriculum and got to check out their awesome Food: Farming and Food Security program. In addition to educational videos, the program provides challenges, opportunities to learn more about food security, and other resources.
This month members of the Niriqatiginnga project have been consulting and engaging with various projects and organization to help identify models and approaches that would work as we begin to scale up our Niriqatiginnga program and its related activities.
We will meet a class of graduate student studying decision making in supply chain operations from the Labovitz School of Business and Economics, University of Minnesota Duluth.
