Workshop: Shape Our Space
Winter & Spring Exhibition Planning Workshop
Are you passionate about local art, history, or community design? We invite you to roll up your sleeves and join us for a hands-on session as we map out the future of our neighborhood’s newest creative hub.
On Saturday, January 4, we are gathering to conceptualize our upcoming Winter and Spring arts exhibitions. This isn’t just about hanging pictures on a wall—it’s about defining the soul of a space.
The Vision
We are currently in the process of collectively transforming the lower level of the Dyment Recreation Hall into a dedicated gallery and heritage space. This week, our workshop focuses on three core pillars:
- Placemaking: How do we turn a physical space into a meaningful “place”?
- Spatial Justice: Ensuring our gallery is equitable, accessible, and representative of all voices.
- Strategic Planning: Practical layout and conceptualizing themes for the 2026 season.
