Project Name: Deep Geological Repository (DGR) for Canada’s Used Nuclear Fuel Project.
Nature of Project: Waste Management.
Description: A proposal by the Nuclear Waste Management Organization for a new underground system designed to safely contain and isolate used nuclear fuel.
Location: 43 km northwest of Ignace, Ontario.
