Indigenous youth artists, early career researchers and climate entrepreneurs were proud to see projects like the @1860 Winnipeg Arts, Inclusion in Northern Research and Our People Our Climate showcased during during Arctic Science Summit Week 2023 in Vienna, Austria this month.
The annual, week-long celebration encourages Canadians from coast to coast to coast to celebrate acts of kindness, volunteerism and charitable giving to the benefit of all Canadians, and will connect individuals and organizations to share resources, information and tools to foster more acts of kindness.

Each Friday we are able to participate in some of the amazing group sessions held by the University of Victoria's Community Based Research Lab. This week's session, October 27 at 1:00 (CST) will be Dr. Sarah Marie Wiebe.
Tuesday update meetings are cancelled due to scheduling, people on travel, construction of the new creative community space, but will resume again on Nov. 22.
It's been a long road for our program. From our struggles at the beginning where everything was being cancelled or postponed, to the difficulties of being able to come together as a group; we're excited to see the spaces and places we've worked so hard to shape this past year finally coming to life.
