Titled "From Principles to Practice: UNDA in Northern Realities," this next proposed project will explore the implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) through the lens of arts and storytelling.
The northern arts and culture sector continues to face significant challenges, with organizations -- north and south -- struggling due to a loss of advocacy, support for funding, and participation in major events.
The organizers have announced an extended deadline for abstract submissions for Arctic Congress 2024. The conference will convene 29 May-3 June 2024 in Bodø, Norway.
