The Myth Of Being Apolitical

I hear it all the time: 'I’m just not that into politics.' It sounds like a neutral stance, right? A way to stay above the fray and keep your peace. But here is the real-talk: being 'apolitical' is a privilege that not everyone has. If your life is not affected by the laws being passed or the rhetoric being shouted, it means the system was designed to work for you.
