Funded by Manitoba Agriculture and the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership, the initiative aimed to explore the establishment of a network of projects and programs to support northern food security and entrepreneurship in the food sector.

Key activities of the project included relationship development, consultation, and engagement efforts focused on participatory food security research and training opportunities. A notable collaboration was with the Minneapolis College of Art and Design’s Creative Entrepreneurship program. Additionally, the project contributed to designing research initiatives intended to attract investment in Manitoba’s food systems.
