Our Commitment: Empowering Publishing and Arts Across Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba

This entire initiative proudly champions regional storytelling, publishing, and the arts, directly benefiting the communities of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. The book’s development is intimately tied to the Art Borups Corners Storytelling Club library, a successful interdisciplinary arts and capacity-building program delivered in the summer of 2025. This vital project was collaboratively supported by: the generous Ontario Arts Council Multi and Inter-Arts Projects funding, the central Arts Incubator Winnipeg Hub, the Ottawa-based non-profit organization Global Dignity Canada, and the esteemed Minneapolis College of Art and Design Creative Entrepreneurship Program. We extend sincere gratitude to the Local Services Board of Melgund, alongside the numerous regional artists, creators, and community members dedicated to this vision.
