As we melt into February, the momentum behind the "Establishing Niriqatiginnga: Towards a Framework for Northern Food Systems Innovation" project continues to grow
Welcome back to an exciting new year. We hope everyone had a terrific holiday break and are looking forward to the year ahead.
When we found out we are going to be session convenors this summer, the first thing we thought was "We have no idea what a session convenor actually does!"
This season, we're doing a lot of learning about terminology for the arts sector. One of the questions that came up recently was a question about what arts based inquiry means.
In simple terms, critical diversity is like using all the crayons in the box to create beautiful and colorful pictures, and making sure that everyone, even those who were left out before, gets a fair chance to be a part of the artwork. It's about celebrating our differences and making sure they all count.
This year's program saw a lot of hard work and some extra challenges, but experiences were the best yet.

This week’s flashback is from one of our most memorable events: Food is Belonging for Global Dignity Day 2015 with Global Dignity Canada and TakingITGlobal.
Tuesday update meetings are cancelled due to scheduling, people on travel, construction of the new creative community space, but will resume again on Nov. 22.
With our summer programming coming to a close, this is a great opportunity to look back on the amazing experiences and all the activities we've been able to accomplish. Here is a short clip we will be presenting this December.
