DESCRIPTION:Explore natural wonders with Winnipeg-based artist Jamie Bell.\nJoin Winnipeg-based artist Jamie Bell for a unique plant walk at the Art Borups Corners Living Land Lab on Tuesday\, July 29\, 2025\, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. \nJamie\, a familiar face in our community this summer\, grew up in the region and has a deep personal connection to the landscape. He brings extensive experience from supporting numerous community-based research projects across Northern Canada\, offering a unique perspective on the botanical treasures around us. \nDuring this engaging walk\, Jamie will guide you through the Living Land Lab’s beautiful trail system. You’ll discover many plants and flowers that often go unnoticed right in your own backyard. Beyond just identification\, Jamie will share fascinating stories about traditional plant uses and help you learn which ones are edible. \nThis promises to be an insightful and enriching experience for all ages\, connecting you more deeply with our local environment and its rich history.
