Arts for Research Creation: Towards a Mentorship Training Program
November 15 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Join us for our @1860 Winnipeg Arts weekly meetings. The team meets each Wednesday evening from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
This year we are looking at moving beyond our usual three or four-month long projects and exploring how to scale up some of the lessons learned from our past projects. We’ve learned a lot about participatory research over the last three years from the University of Victoria Community Based Research Lab and the Mentorship Training Program offered by the UNESCO Chair for Community Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education.
We’ve been exploring the idea of establishing a Winnipeg Knowledge for Change (K4C) Hub for a few years now. This week’s meeting will focus on a group discussion about the UNESCO Chair in Community Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education Mentor Training Program (MTP). For this week’s meeting, we will be having a group discussion about what a K4C Hub could look like.

We welcome everyone who is interested to contact us on how to take part. Meetings are open to all, and each week we will have a special theme. Contact us for more information at niriqatiginnga@gmail.com
