She is also a professor of and advisor to the PROCAM-USP Graduate Program in Environmental Science and Sustainability. Her research focus is on solid waste, specifically waste management, policies, and socio-environmental impacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will meet at @1860 at 10 a.m. (Winnipeg Time) to hear Dr. Sylmara Gon\u00e7alves Dias discussing an educational tool designed for engaging students in participatory, individual, and collective activities centered around environmental and climate injustices, using the local environment as a focal point for reflection. This tool called the Climate Detective Educational Toolkit, was created as part of the \u201cParticipatory Action Research: Education for Climate Justice in the Ribeira Valley\u201d project, which began in October 2021 and is a collaboration between NOSS EACH USP, Climate-U (College of London \u2013 UKRI), and INCLINE USP in Brazil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The toolkit is specifically designed for primary school students and aims to encourage them to observe their surroundings to identify issues related to Climate Injustice and propose solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to the&nbsp;<strong><a
