With nearly 30 years of experience in arts, media, and strategic communications, Jamie helps teams rethink how they connect, collaborate, and evolve\u2014especially in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. His practice is grounded in cultural responsiveness and driven by experimentation, whether through participatory filmmaking, design-driven research, or emergent AI tools. He works across Canada, including Winnipeg, Ottawa, Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamie has co-founded several initiatives that model community-first innovation, including <strong><a href=\"\/\">Digital Salvage<\/a><\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/artsincubator.ca\/\"><strong>Art Borups Corners<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/artsincubator.ca\/\"><strong>Winnipeg Arts Collective<\/strong><\/a>. His early work with the <a href=\"http:\/\/artsincubator.ca\/news\/research-and-resilience-looking-back-at-the-arviat-film-society\/\"><strong>Arviat Film Society<\/strong><\/a> and Arviat Television helped establish one of Canada\u2019s most dynamic youth-led media hubs, grounded in Inuit self-expression and co-designed with <strong>Isuma TV\u2019s Digital Indigenous Democracy Project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamie\u2019s portfolio spans research networks, not-for-profit governance, and arts-based consulting in both public and private sectors. Projects like the <a href=\"https:\/\/nanisiniq-blog-blog.tumblr.com\/\"><strong>Nanisiniq Arviat History Project<\/strong><\/a> (SSHRC) and <a href=\"https:\/\/arcticnet.ulaval.ca\/about-us\/equity-diversity-inclusion\/\"><strong>Inclusion in Northern Research<\/strong><\/a> (ArcticNet) have informed national policy conversations on decolonization, inclusion, and youth leadership.
