A particular pattern on a pot shard might show up in two distinct regions, separated by vast distances, or a carving style might carry echoes across different cultures without a clear point of origin. Experts don&#8217;t usually point to one sole inventor when this happens; instead, they see evidence of people learning from each other, borrowing ideas, or simply responding to similar needs with similar solutions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Much of what we call cultural heritage from deep history is, in fact, a rich blend. Techniques for working metal, for dyeing cloth, or for telling a story through pictographs moved across ancient trade routes like whispers, changing a little with each telling.
