The paper grain around it too crisp, the faded ink resolved with a clarity that historical documents rarely hold, not after centuries of wear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This isn&#8217;t just about cleaning up a scan. AI doesn&#8217;t simply restore what was there; it <i>completes<\/i> what wasn&#8217;t. It smooths out the rough edges of history, fills in the blanks with statistically probable guesses, and paints over the scars of time. We get archives that are &#8216;over-complete,&#8217; where every missing detail, every faded word, every blank space is filled with something that <i>could<\/i> have been there.
