The software gently nudges the text toward a statistical average, replacing idiosyncratic phrasing with predictable, widely accepted patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consequence is a loss of syntactic friction. When writing contains no unexpected turns of phrase, the reader&#8217;s attention slips. The prose becomes a form of background noise, easy to scan but difficult to remember. Without the natural bumps and imperfections of human speech, the text fails to leave a lasting impression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To resist this, writers must introduce deliberate irregularities.
