Meet the Team

Based in Winnipeg and Northwestern Ontario, Digital Salvage is a grassroots arts collective and creative lab that bridges traditional art forms with digital innovation. Volunteer-driven and community-powered, we offer a decentralized space for artists, youth, and cultural workers to experiment, collaborate, and build capacity in both creative practice and organizational growth.

Our unique hub-and-cluster model connects communities from urban centers to remote regions, fostering creative exploration through a mix of land-based art, digital media, and cutting-edge AI tools. By integrating AI with artistic practice, we provide opportunities for creators to expand their craft while rethinking how technology can support cultural preservation and storytelling.

We’re committed to strengthening both individual creative practice and collective infrastructure, equipping artists and communities with the tools to thrive—whether through mentorship, immersive workshops, or capacity-building initiatives. At Digital Salvage, we don’t just make art; we build the systems that sustain it, creating spaces where diverse voices can grow, collaborate, and drive meaningful change.

Meet the artists, youth, students, and volunteers who are shaping the collective from the ground up.
