His work centres on building stronger relationships through culturally grounded outreach, creative engagement, and northern-led collaboration. His work has been funded by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sshrc-crsh.canada.ca\/society-societe\/stories-histoires\/story-histoire-eng.aspx?story_id=168\">Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/artscouncil.mb.ca\/grants\/indigenous-360\/\">Manitoba Arts Council<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/apply-mtn.canadacouncil.ca\/\">Canada Council for the Arts<\/a><\/strong> among others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamie is a founding member and frequent collaborator with the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/artsincubator.ca\/\">Art Borups Corners<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"\/digitalsalvage\">Digital Salvage<\/a><\/strong> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/artsincubator.ca\/\"><strong>@1860 Winnipeg Arts Collective<\/strong><\/a>. He was also a founding member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/artsincubator.ca\/news\/research-and-resilience-looking-back-at-the-arviat-film-society\/\"><strong>Arviat Film Society<\/strong><\/a> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nunatsiaq.com\/stories\/article\/65674photo_youre_in_the_shot_arviat_film_society_ramps_up_again\/\">Arviat Television<\/a><\/strong>\u2014established with the support of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isuma.tv\/DID\">Isuma TV\u2019s<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isuma.tv\/DID\">Digital Indigenous Democracy Project<\/a><\/strong>.
