The shack is located a short distance from the Dyment boat launch, with access via an informal, plowed ice road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Access:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Follow directions to the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/artsincubator.ca\/recreation\/local-attractions\/dyment-boat-access-to-melgund-lake\/\">Dyment Boat Access<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(south side of Melgund Lake)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once at the landing, take the\u00a0<strong>plowed ice road<\/strong>\u00a0out onto the lake<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow the route until you reach the\u00a0<strong>Dyment Ice Shack<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>&nbsp;The ice road is not officially maintained. Travel on lake ice is&nbsp;<strong>at your own risk<\/strong>.
