Participants will gain a clear understanding of how AI technologies work\, why they are transforming creative industries\, and how rural and Indigenous communities can actively participate in shaping the future of digital culture. \nDesigned for artists\, nonprofits\, educators\, youth teams\, and emerging creators\, the session introduces practical AI tools for writing\, brainstorming\, visual development\, research support\, and participatory storytelling. Using real examples from Northwestern Ontario and the Arts Incubator Winnipeg\, the workshop demonstrates how AI can expand creative capacity while supporting cultural resilience\, digital equity\, and local knowledge-sharing. \nThe workshop also explores key conversations surrounding ethical AI\, digital sovereignty\, data ownership\, and community access to technology.
