Our beans and peas are really starting to grow!
This year has been an exciting and educational journey for all of us, especially as we see our beans and peas really starting to grow! From the very beginning, we’ve been hands-on in the garden, learning so much about what it takes to successfully cultivate these plants. We started by carefully preparing the soil, making sure it was rich in nutrients and had good drainage. This is something we picked up from our reading and from talking to experienced gardeners. Adding compost and organic matter was like giving our seeds the best possible start in life.
